Move-In Events

Breadcrumb

We look forward to your arrival on campus during our upcoming Move In Events!

Student volunteers will be at the entrances of campus to direct you to your appropriate parking lot. To make the move-in process convenient for you, staff, and students will be available to assist in unloading your belongings and moving them to your room for you. Elevators will not be available for public use during move-in week.

If you require special assistance moving to campus, please contact Louis Higuera, New Student Move-in Coordinator, at louis.higuera@myxiwei.com

To ensure that none of your belongings are misplaced, we ask that you prominently display your name, residence hall, and room number on ALL boxes, bags, and/or suitcases prior to your arrival.

The College will make every effort to ensure that your belongings arrive in your room. However, the College will not accept liability for any lost or damaged personal belongings. Use your discretion when giving any items of high or personal value to our staff and students.

We encourage you to bring only the items that are most necessary for the first few weeks of school. Family Weekend 2024 is September 27-29, and this is a good time to have additional items brought to you by your family. Please see the list of items we suggest you purchase locally after you arrive on campus. We also encourage you to review the list of items not permitted in the residence halls.

Move-In Schedule

  • Students move in between Aug. 19 and Aug. 24.

  • Move-in dates for First Year and Transfer Students were sent in mid-July. Move-in dates for Returning Students were communicated late July.

  • Additional detailed move-in instructions with your date (as a reminder) and time were sent to you after housing assignments were finalized. Please check your Aug. 14 email for information about your move-in date.

  • Students are asked to please adhere to their scheduled move-in date and time.
